Terms of Use
Welcome to we speak. By using the platform or creating an account, you agree to these terms.
1. The platform
we speak is a Libyan cultural platform for publishing literary writing, a product of Rakeeza for Digital Marketing. It is intended for writers and readers aged 16 and above.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity on your account. Use a respectful username and do not impersonate anyone.
3. Submitted texts
- Submissions must be your own original work, not copied from any other source.
- Copyright stays with you, the author. By submitting, you grant we speak a non-exclusive licence to display the text on the platform and share it through its channels (always attributed to you).
- Every text is reviewed by the editorial team before publishing. The team may accept or decline any text without stating reasons; a decline is never a judgement of your worth as a writer.
- Content that promotes hatred or violence, targets real people, or infringes the rights of others is not allowed.
4. Ratings, reporting and blocking
Star ratings are available to registered users. Abusing interaction tools or filing malicious reports may lead to account suspension.
We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Every text is reviewed before publishing; even so, you can report any published text using the "Report" button on the text page. We commit to reviewing every report and acting on it — including removing the content and suspending the account behind it — within 24 hours.
You can also block any user from their profile page, which immediately hides all of their texts from you.
5. Ending your account
You can request deletion of your account at any time via the contact page. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
6. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be announced on the platform.
Questions: via the contact page.
